Free, Live Music Returns to Downtown Hartford this Summer
Hartford BID to launch new Thursday night music series
Hartford, CT, May 12, 2026 –The Hartford Business Improvement District and Hartford.com are pleased to announce the launch of a brand new music series to take place on Thursday evenings in downtown Hartford beginning June 4.
Street Sounds will take place from 5-6 pm outside the Hartford.com kiosk on the corner of Main Street and Asylum Street and will feature an eclectic array of musicians playing a wide variety of original music. The series will begin on June 4 with a performance from renowned Hartford-based R&B singer Ysanne, and will run through August 13.
Street Sounds is made possible by a sponsorship from M&T Bank.
