Annual Halloween-themed Vendor Fair Returns to Downtown Hartford

Hartford, CT – August 13, 2026 – Hartford.com and the Hartford Business Improvement District are once again welcoming the Halloween season early to downtown Hartford this year with the return of their popular outdoor, Halloween and horror-themed vendor fair, Bizarre Bazaar.

Bizarre Bazaar will take place on Saturday, September 12 on State House Square Plaza in downtown Hartford from 12-4 pm. The Bizarre Bazaar will feature over 30 local artists, crafters, and artisans specializing in original creations befitting the “spooky season”.

“We love being able to work with so many talented, local artists and crafters who make a wide array of unique items that fans of Halloween, horror, and general spookiness can enjoy”, said Chip McCabe, Director of Placemaking & Events for the Hartford BID. “This is an event designed for and by people who celebrate ‘spooky season’ year round.”

The Bizarre Bazaar will also feature the Togo Spice West African food truck, The Coffee Coven, and Mezzie’s Ice Cream.
