HARTFORD, CT, April 21, 2026 – The Hartford Business Improvement District is pleased to announce the return of its signature Hartford.com Salsa Socials for five dates this summer alongside presenting sponsor Hartford HealthCare. The salsa socials will take place Fridays, May 22, June 26, July 24, August 21, and September 18 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Pratt Street in Downtown Hartford.
Now entering its eighth year the Hartford.com Salsa Socials have grown to become one of the most beloved and anticipated annual summer events held in downtown Hartford.
“At Hartford HealthCare, our mission is to improve the health and healing of all—and that work extends far beyond the walls of our hospitals,” said Karen Goyette, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Hartford HealthCare. “The Hartford.com Salsa Socials are a powerful example of how wellness comes to life in the community—through joy, culture, and shared experiences. Supporting events like these is central to our mission and our commitment to helping people live healthier, more connected lives.”
“These salsa socials are about celebrating the local community that makes Hartford so special. The dancers, the spectators, the professional instructors from Arthur Murray Dance Center, the families, friends, and everyone in attendance help to make these events a truly engaging experience,” says Chip McCabe, the Hartford Business Improvement District’s Director of Placemaking & Events.
Hartford.com Salsa Socials are free and open to the general public. In the event of rain, Salsa Socials will take place the corresponding Saturday night. For more information about the Hartford.com Salsa Socials visit Hartford.com/salsa.
