Hartford.com Salsa Socials to Return to Pratt Street

Free Salsa Social Events Return to Downtown Hartford in May, June, July, August, and September

HARTFORD, CT, May 9, 2025 – The Hartford Business Improvement District is pleased to announce the return of its signature Hartford.com Pratt Street Salsa Socials for five dates this summer alongside presenting sponsor Hartford HealthCare. The salsa socials will take place Fridays, May 23, June 27, July 25, August 22, and September 19 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Pratt Street in Downtown Hartford.

Now entering its seventh year the Hartford.com Pratt Street Salsa Socials have grown to become one of the most beloved and anticipated annual summer events held in downtown Hartford.

“These salsa socials are about celebrating the local community that makes Hartford so special. The dancers, the spectators, the professional instructors from Arthur Murray Dance Center, the families, friends, and everyone in attendance help to make these events a truly engaging experience,” says Chip McCabe, the Hartford Business Improvement District’s Director of Placemaking & Events.
