Free Lunchtime Music Series Returns to Downtown Hartford

Hartford BID to present Audio Feed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Hartford, CT, July 1, 2026 – The Hartford Business Improvement District and Hartford.com are pleased to announce the return of Audio Feed, their free lunchtime music series, to downtown Hartford.

Audio Feed will take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12-1 pm beginning July 7/8 and running through the end of September. The 13-week series will host 26 local, original music acts performing a wide array of musical styles including R&B, hip-hop, blues, country, folk, indie pop, indie rock, and more.

Tuesday performances will take place outside on State House Square Plaza, next to Connecticut’s Old State House, and will coincide with the Old State House’s Tuesday farmer’s markets. Wednesday performances will take place inside the State House Square food court. In the case of inclement weather Tuesday performances will move inside to the food court.

“It’s important for us to continue to activate these amazing spaces, while furthering our mission of supporting local, original artists”, said Chip McCabe, Director of Placemaking & Events for the Hartford BID. “We are very excited to once again offer two more days per week of free music in downtown Hartford.”

Audio Feed is made possible through a grant from the Roberts Foundation for the Arts, one of the leading organizations providing the necessary resources that support the arts in the Hartford Region. Additional support is provided by M&T Bank.
