Calling All Artists: Submit Your Work Now for 2024 National Arts Program®

Professional and Amateur Artists from Middlesex and Hartford counties are invited to participate; it is free to register and cash prizes are awarded for winning work

January 19, 2024 HARTFORD — National Arts Program is Back!  The Community Renewal Team (CRT) in collaboration with the Connecticut Art Education Association, Inc. are thrilled to announce the opportunity for local artists to showcase their art within a community exhibit at Hartford ArtSpace Gallery, 555 Asylum Avenue in Hartford.  Youth, teens, amateurs, intermediate and professional artists from both Middlesex and Hartford Counties are invited to submit their work now for the 2024 art show.  Cash prizes will be awarded!  The art will be on display from March 9 to March 29, 2024.

All forms of visual arts are accepted for this show, from paintings and photographs to sculptures, crafts and textiles.

All entries submitted must be the original work of the applicant and completed within the last three years - only one entry per artist. Participants must be current residents of Hartford or Middlesex County, a CAEA member or a student of or immediate family member of a CAEA member, or an employee or family member of an employee of CRT.

Artists can submit their work for free to this show. By removing the financial and commercial requirements of most exhibitions, the NAP creates a sense of community and artistic fulfillment for all participants.

The deadline to register for the 2024 National Arts Program in Central Connecticut is February 10, 2024.

Complete the entry form to participate in the 31st Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program.  Please note space is limited.  Only the first 180 entries will be accepted.  80 Adult submissions, 50 Teens age 13-18 submissions, and 50 Youth 12 and under submissions will be accepted.  Details about how to register for the show, along with examples of winning work from last year, are available on the NAP registration page:
